POWELL SENTENCED FOR DEALING DRUGS.(CAPITAL REGION)

SCHENECTADY -- Still facing trial for the murder of his first wife, Warren Powell was sentenced Thursday to 41 to 125 years in prison for selling 0.13 of a gram of cocaine to an undercover State Police officer.

Powell, 26, of Valatie, was convicted on 11 felony drug counts after a jury trial Jan. 28. Shackled at the feet and wearing orange jail garb, he showed no emotion as ating Schenectady County Judge Richard C. Giardino imposed 8- to 25-year consecutive sentences on five convictions of felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.
